Fakhrul, 34 other BNP leaders get ad-interim bail

A Dhaka court on Sunday granted ad-interim bail to 35 BNP leaders including its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in different cases filed on charges of vandalising vehicles and attacking police.

Judge KM Imrul Kayes of Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court of Dhaka passed the order after hearing separate bail petitions filed by the accused BNP leaders this morning.

Additional Public Prosecutor Taposh Kumar Pal confirmed this to media.
