ACC launches probe against expelled Jubo Mohila League leader Papiya

The Anti-Corruption Commission has launched enquiry into the allegations of illegal wealth accumulation against expelled Jubo Mohila League leader Shamima Nur Papiya, its chairman Iqbal Mahmud said.

“A committee has been formed to look into the allegations of amassing illegal wealth against Shamima Nur Papiya,” he said.

Iqbal Mahmud came up with the information at a media briefing at the ACC’s headquarters in the capital’s Segun Bagicha area on Thursday noon.
