Three people, including a woman, have been infected with coronavirus in Bangladesh, Institute of Epidemiology, Diseases Control and Research (IEDCR) confirmed.
IEDCR director Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora, who is leading the DGHS death review committee, disclosed this information at a press briefing in the capital on Sunday.
Of the infected persons, aged between 20-35 years, two returned from Italy recently, according to the government’s disease control agency..
They have been quarantined, Sabrina Flora added.
