Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s former leaders — Shamsher Mubin Chowdhury and Taimur Alam Khondokar – were made chairman and secretary general respectively of newly formed Trinamool BNP.
They got the responsibility in a council session of the party at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
Of the two ex-BNP leaders, former BNP vice-chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury played an important role for the party in diplomatic arena as he was a professional diplomat before joining politics.
BNP chairperson’s advisory council former member Taimur Alam Khondokar who was recently sacked from the party for participating in local government election ignoring party decisions played an important role in BNP’s field politics.
