Bangladesh has declared a one-day state mourning for Saturday (October 20) commemorating the deaths of Palestinians in Israel attacks.
National flags will be hoisted at half mast on the day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said at a programme at Roads and Highways Department’s headquarters in Dhaka on Thursday.
She also called for offering prayers for the Palestinian victims in all mosques after Jum’a and other places of worship across the country on Friday. The victims of the brutal Israeli attack are not only Muslims, but also Christian and Jews, she said.
